I'm auctioning a Sony PSU on Ebay from a VAIO PCV RZ32G. A bidder asked me this question:

I am looking for a Sony Power Supply for a VAIO PCV-RX580, S/N146860114, Model DPS-248AB. Your PS has the same dimensions, do you know if it is compatible with what I have? Its output power is 146.3 watts.

Since the PSU I'm selling has enough juice (watts) and has the same physical dimensions, I think it would work in the RX850. However, I'd like to get a second opinon from someone with more tech saavy than myself.

Anybody able to let me know one way or the other?
Thanks

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. If the two computers are of the same form factor (ATX for example) the PSU should work. See the FAQ at http://hardforum.com...ad.php?t=756864
Lots of other info on power supplies here as well
