Hi nissanxkyline93! Welcome to G2G!

Do you connect directly to the modem for your DSL or do you connect to a router which in turn connects to the modem?

I think it connects to a router. Also how come when I play Diablo II Lord Of Destruction it always lags real bad. It doesnt lag in the other games I play though..

If it connects to a router, then you need to forward port 6112 on the router. To do this, you need to log into you router. What is the make & model of your router?

That is a modem and therefore needs no port forwarding. Do you have any firewalls, either Windows XP firewall or third party firewalls such as Zone Alarm, installed?

Try disabling McAfee and then try to make a game. Disabling it is only for testing purposes. If you are able to make a game, then you are going to need to re-enable McAfee and change the firewall setting to allow internet access through it for Starcraft.
