Hi,

I've recently had autoplay problems.
It started off that discs put in would not autoplay.. no probs.. I just clicked on the appropriate program and it worked.
Then it started not to recognise there was a disc in the drive.. no probs.. I kept clicking and clicking until it started up.
Now, it's a nightmare to get a disc to work.

I have a Sony Vaio laptop with a driver that seems to be supported by Microsoft, although I cannot find any fixes or updates at Microsoft.
I downloaded Microsofts "autoplay fix" programme but it does not detect a problem.
The drive is:
qsi cdrw/dvd sbw242u

version:
5.1.2535.0

with windows XP v.2
Any help would be great.
Many thanks
