Hello,
1) My cd rom does not pop up the selection menu when a cd is inserted in it.I have gone to properties and enabled AUTOPLAY...but in vain.Even when i right click on the CD_ROM it does not show the auto play option.
2)My system is a bit slow now a days.....when it was new for a few months it was fast and good.So to make it fast i decreased some processes i thought were useless by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL.Coul somebody give me a permanent solution to this.Like i dont want so many unnecessary programs to start at the system startup.
3)I installed an anti spyware and sweeped my comp with it.It showed a few spywares and i deleted them. From the next system startup i get an error C:\~windows\~system32\~SOPROC.exe missing. This may not be correct path but the SOPROC.exe is missing what do i do?

Please help me.....!

Sorry about the delay, was at work for 10 hours and then had 2 hours worth of driving time as well to and from work. Re-run a HJT scan and put a check in the checkboxes that correspond to the following items:
  • O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [High Definition Audio Property Page Shortcut] HDAudPropShortcut.exe
  • O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NeroFilterCheck] C:\WINDOWS\system32\NeroCheck.exe
  • O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot
  • O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_09\bin\jusched.exe
  • O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MSConfig] C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\MSConfig.exe /auto
  • O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSMSGS] "C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe" /background
  • O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Yahoo! Pager] C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\ypager.exe -quiet
  • O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE
  • O4 - Global Startup: Adobe Gamma Loader.lnk = C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Calibration\Adobe Gamma Loader.exe

Once you have all the items above checked, click the FIX CHECKED button and hit YES/OK to any windows that pop up while HJT is removing the entries. Then reboot your computer.

Post back how things are going.
