Epson scan software won't start. Two error messages received:

Escndv.exe – Application error.
The instruction at “0x10070e51” referenced memory at “0x001e9000”. The memory could not be “written”. Click on OK to terminate the program

Escndv.exe – Application error.
The instruction at “0x77f69d63 reference memory at “0xe0e0edbde”. The memory could not be “written”
Click on OK to terminate the program

I see the start up screen and then receive these error messages. System restore didn't help. I also tried removing and re-installing the software. The program worked fine in the morning when I ran it through Photoshop 7, but failed the next time I used it whether through Photoshop or through the Epson scan program. :tazz:

start > run, type
eventvwr.msc
<enter>

Look under systems and applications for items with red Xs that happened at the SAME time as your problem...list them here.

HERE IS THE SOLUTION:

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Program data\EPSON
and ERASE the content related to your scanner

Apply in [user] your windows account
