Hi guys

Today I downloaded a small Quicktime video.I encoded it in .avi format using Divx v6.0.Then to play the file I went to the My Videos folder where I had saved it.The wierd thing is when I hovered the cursor over its icon, My Videos closed itself and all the desktop icons, the START toolbar and the System tray disappeared leaving only the desktop wallpaper. Then it reloaded all startup items again.I've done a virus scan, a spyware/adware scan, but nothing.I think this is one of those errors Windows XP is famous for.I can't even delete the file so, please help. :tazz:

Hi gamermaimer!

Log in as the Administrator in SAFE MODE and see if you can delete the file from there.
