One of my friends lost a cd of mine once that has some genius music on it. Luckily, I ripped the music on it onto my computer before that, but now that I'm not home a lot, I want to put it on my iPod - only, it's in wma-format, which iTunes refuses to read, so I need a music convertor. The trouble is, the files are protected, so I'm going to need a program that can either unprotect them or just ignore the fact that they are protected. Anybody have a good idea?

Indeed, a quick visit to Download.com shows that there are a ton of applications that can perform audio file format conversions. Of these many choices, the most popular appear to be dBpowerAmp Music Converter, Power MP3 WMA Converter, and Media Monkey.

Nope, tried all three of them, none of them can convert DRM protected files.
