I have a problem with a partitioned harddrive. I helped reload windows XP on my friends laptop and I deleted one of her partitioned of oher harddrive cuz i wasn't sure if it was going to get formatted. Well after we loaded windows, it was missing and she only shows up as having 6 gigs instead of 15. Please let me know what i can do to get the other partitioned piece back

ThankYou

Go to "Control Panel", "Administrative Tools", "Computer Management", "Disk Management". This will show your HD space. On the bottom right hand side of the window it will show the 6 gig partition and then another 9 gigs of unpartitioned space. Right click on it down there and create a partition, and then format the partion. You can right click on it after it's turned into a partition and get the "format" option.
