Hello Wonderful People!

I mean that with all sincerity. My computer has never run so smoothly as when I got advice from the Geeks to Go! I was all set to wipe my harddrive, but the Geeks came to my rescue. I rarely have the problems I used to have daily, even hourly. Hats off to the Geeks!!!

Okay, my current question is about manging browser add-ons. I recently had an online crash, and Windows Update suggested downloading a Hotfix, which I did, but also suggested that I check my list of Internet Add-ons. There is something called "ICQ". It is listed as a browser extension, but I'm not sure what this is. When I've done an online search of ICQ, most of the hits are about what seems to be an online dating forum, as in "I Seek You". I'm wondering is this object is legitimate, or a leftover file that managed to stay in my system. I may have visited this website www.icq.com, but I can't really remember doing so.

Anyone know what this is?

Thanks,
