Hi -

I have written in another area of the forum, about a problem I'm having with my printer. I have a Dell Dimension 2400 Desktop, Windows XP with SP2, and the printer is a Dell AIO A940. What started the problem was that I deleted a task from Task Manager called "spoolsv.exe". I got in back in, then started getting message "connection not detected", message told me to connect printer to USB port, even tho it's always been set to LPT1. So I tried USB, got the message "communication not available". I know I've had viriuses, don't know what I've got right now.

Here is my first attempt at posting a log. I appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks!

One extra thing - I recently lost my connection to AOL around the same time, about a week ago. I've tried everything to get AOL back, uninstall, reinstall, asking from help from AOL, everything. Did a virus get it. too?

thanks!
