I have seen this prgram mentioned. Where is it located? I have the problem with Device Mgr in XP not dispalying devices. This seem to have been casued by Winfixer 2005. My sytem was totally stable before this program came along with its free scan and predictable results. So I don't think this was a Windows problem.

Aproprose is deffinitely a prolifferant and awefull piece of malware...but TO ALL THAT READ THIS....just because you know what it is...and there is a tool available to clean it...you must know how to use this tool...we have properly trained staff capable of teaching you h ow to use this tool correctly and ensuring that the least amount of damage will be done to your machine... as with most malware....this infection has the possibility of carrying other infections into your system...i suggest that you follow the instructions bellow to ensure that your machine is clean of infection

Please go to the malware forum in my signature and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
