Ok tonight my computer has been acted rather slow. So I downloaded a couple of Spy Ware removers and I find that have over 50 infected files. I deleted all of them and I my computer is still slow. I cant open My Documents and I was going to reinstall Windows but I dont want to delete my documents. I need to burn it to a disk first. Also when ever I click on start, it will just show the menu when Im done. Its kind of hard to explain. I push start then I click off the start menu on to my desktop and I still see my start menu. Also windows messenger doesnt work. My icons on my desktop dont work. My system tray icons dont work. I want to just do a fresh install but all I need to do is burn a couple disks but I cant because My Documents wont open. Also inorder to open firefox I have to restart my comp and as soon as I see the main window I have to click on the icon. It seems to be the only app that works. Hope this all made sense. Seems the turkey is making me tired. Thanks and Happy Thanks Giving.

*EDIT* Though I add some information that might be helpful.

Sony Vaio PCV RS-322:

-Asus P4SD-VX MotherBoard
- Intel P4 2.8ghz HT Processor
-Seagate 120gb 7200 Hard Drive
-nVidia GeForce MX440
-Creative Audigy2 ZS

Also I cant open Control Panel. I can open My Computer though.

It would be VERY useful if you could provide what spyware you deleted.

Without that info, we are probably spitting in the wind as far as finding a specific thing to do, therefore, the best option is a blanket approach, which is running a windows REPAIR. Please see the top post in this thread and follow the instructions
