Well for chistmas this year my family has decided to buy a new computer, I know quite a bit about computers, but not as much as I would like. I finaly decided to buy from Newegg(great site bye the way) and buy all the parts seperate, instead of buying from a pre-built company(Dell is pretty crappy). Anyways I know all the componants nessesary for a computer, I just don't know how to hook it all up! I need help with building it and getting the right parts. I would be greatly obliged if someone here whom is very well with computers could look through Newegg and find all the right parts.
What I need is of course a case, motherboard, processer, hard drive, sound card, video card, RAM, CD-ROM/DVD drive, cooling system, keyboard(can be cheap), mouse(can be cheap), speakers(can be cheap), and moniter(can be cheap). All of it must be under 1,200$ USD. I would also not mind at all if I could get some instructions to print to work with. I wouldn't mind 2GB RAM, but at least 1GB would be nice. Keep in mind I mostly want this computer for decent gaming.
Also if someone finds a good pre-built computer that is under 1,200$ USD, I would be greatly happy(no fustrations with building one). Thank you for your time in reading this, and thank you in advance for any help given.
