I want a really good soundcard for stereo. I don't need surround sound capabilities. What would you recommend? Thanks.

I would say most onboard audio is fine for just stereo sound, but if you do alot of digital sound work, a creative labs audigy would be very nice. Either that or the audigy2, audigy2 zs, x-fi. etc.
