now this is probably a dumb question but here we go

i have dsl..and a microfilter like this


but i can't plug my phone into this, because both sockets are taken up..the small one goes to the modem (which in turn goes to the usb port) and the other goes to the phone socket on the pc

someone help my dumbness

What do you use the phone socket on the PC for? Faxing? You could put in a splitter, run one side to the phone, and one to the PC.
