Well, for music creation i have tried fruity loops, cubase and reason 3.
I think that fruity loops is very easy to learn, but you cant do much with it.
Cubase is mainly used to create like electric sounds etc.
And reason 3.0 is probably by far the best! You can do almost anything with it! All the weebls-stuff.com cartoons music is composed with reason! But the problem is that its very expensive, so you can pick like a cheap copy up at ebay.co.uk. Also, reason 3 is very complicated to use, thats why i have a set of tutorial discs that i got off ebay. Pick them up cheap aswell! After you have seen the reason tutorials, you will be a master at reason and its FAB!

Ok, and remember that if you get reason, get some tutorial cds.
