Hello

I'm looking to purchase some software which will fix errors, clean the registry and loose files, and optimise performance. The problem is there are a lot out there and I'm not sure which is the best. Also, how effective are these programs, or are they really just marketing tricks?

Hi, you are right there are a lot out there, many of them are "FREE" and actually do work, if you look right on the top of GTG there is a tool bar, goto "Downloads" you will find alot of good tools there, try going to "Virus/Spyware/Security". I would also recommend "Ccleaner" and "Advanced System Optimizer" (ASO you will have to pay for) but comes as a trial, see if you enjoy it and then buy it. It works its got great tools like "Registy Defrag" and can delete junk files and many many more. Remember these are just a few, but work great for me. I have on my computer, "Spybot S&D 1.4", "Ad-aware SE Personal Edition 1.06", "CCleaner", "Registy Fix", "Advanced System Optimizer". coool, I hope these helped you.
