Winfixer will not go away

I've had Winfixer for over a month... I have Microsoft AntiSpyware (which is always saying it's quarantined Virtumundo etc. but it always returns), Ad-Aware SE, and McAfee. For the most part, the computer has been still fairly quick, however in the past few days it's begun to slow to the oint of taking 5 minutes for a single website to load. PLEASE HELP!

Hi karahmelapple and Welcome to GeekstoGo!

Vundo seems to have taken a twist.

Please Download WinPFind:

Right Click the Zip Folder and Select "Extract All"

Don't use it yet

Reboot into SAFE MODE(Tap F8 when restarting)
Here is a link on how to boot into Safe Mode:

From the WinPFind folder-> Doubleclick WinPFind.exe and Click "Start Scan"

It will scan the entire System, so please be patient

One you see "Scan Complete"-> a log (WinPFind.txt) will be automatically generated in the WinPFind folder


While in Safe Mode-> Generate a Hijackthis StartUp Log:
Open HijackThis,Select Config(Bottom Right)>>>Select Misc Tools>>> Select Generate StartUpList log and make sure that both Boxes beside it are checked:

Put a check by:
List all minor sections(Full)
and
List Empty Sections(Complete)

It will produce a NotePad Page,I need you to post the entire contents of that page to the next post


Restart Normal and place the results of the WinPFind scan in one post and the results of the HijackThis Startup log in another post.
