Hello , is there a way to stop the system from checking for a new floppy on startup is there any way that you can do it ???????

if it's saying that there's no floppy during POST...and you don't have a floppy drive...then disable the drive in bios...also make sure that it's not first in the boot order

no i dont want it searching for a new drive ( im using Windows XP )

so when you boot into windows...it claims there's new hardware installed?
