while installing windows xp, the computer hang

when i clean install windows xp the computer hangs everytime when it tried to install devices. at exactly 34 mins. left to complete the installation,etc. tried to restart, same thing. and when it didn't hang during that time... it hang during registering components at exactly 14 mins... left to blah.....

As long as the four little squares bottom right are still animating, there's no reason to be concerned. It will appear to freeze on Devices and Components. Only hit reset when the four squares stop moving for a long time.
