DOOM - Is there any way?

I want to install the video game PC game, DOOM on my computer. My computer is a Windows 2000 type. The game, DOOM is most compatible for Windows 95 and 98, but anyways.. Is there anyway I can install this game on my computer wich is a Windows 2000 type?

Have you tried, if you have the instructions it will tell you how to install and run the game in DOS.

My copy of DOOM has a DOS version and a Windows version. The Windows version works fine under XP so I don't see any reason for it not to work under 2000.
If you don't have the Windows version then you could try using DosBox, it's a free DOS emulator.

I do not really need help with the situation anymore, because I was going to play the game at my friends house and he has Windows 2000 and it was not working on his computer, but now I left his house and so I am not as at his house anymore. So, me and my friend were going to play the game but since I left his house, we cannot play the game now. So.. I do not need any help no more, but if I go back over to his house to hang out, and I bring the game over to his house.. Then I will try useing Dos Box, otherwise.. I will just keep posting questions in this Thread if Dos Box does not solve the problem.
