i am running windows xp pro on an aesus laptop and cannot get any sound through the media player. i have downloaded the latest version and everything works but the sound. music through winamp is fine so its not a sound problem affecting the whole computer just media player. appreciatedny help would be a

You don't mention that you've checked this. So I'll mention it. Have you opened media player and adjusted the volume slide icon on media player player itself? The only reason I even ask, is because I've been there done that. And my kid comes in and says "DUH Dad!" :tazz:

Thanx for that but yes I have looked at that and volume shift makes no difference-PBH Nelson (poor but honest)
