Hello,
I would really appreciated some help here. I did something very dumb... :tazz: ...I unplugged the jumper cable to my CD and CDRW drives and powered up my computer. Now my CDRW drive does not show up in Windows Explorer nor in the device manager.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks,

John

ok...so you opened up the box....unplugged the IDE cable from both the cd-rom and the cd-rw drive...and turned the machine on...

did you put the calbes back in?
did you put them back in correctly?
did your cdrw come with a drivers disk?

specs on the cd drive would be helpful too
