Adaptec ATA RAID 2400A capacity?

Hello

I am looking at buying an Adaptec ATA RAID 2400A controller. The product page says it got 4 channels and supports 4 drives.

Could I use the controller with 8 drives in a 4 x Master/Slave configuration? And would the card allow the set up of a raid-5 array with those 8 drives?
