I have a problem logging into my admin on windows xp because somehow I forgot my password. I was wondering if there was a way to get around the password or create a new admin for the computer without having to reinstall windows.

This is from Microsoft

If you have not created a password reset disk, and you have also forgotten the password for all user accounts, you cannot log on to your existing Windows installation for security reasons.

You will probably only change the access rights with an administration account

You can use the other accounts to save data and then clean install by the looks of it
