Call of duty 2 startup problems

Every time i try and load up call of duty 2 a message pops up and says:
ERROR DURING INITIALIZATION
NO VALID RENDERING CODE PATH DETECTED.

then when you click ok this pops up:

You cant play the game because you have an Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller. Which is onboard graphics that is really crappy. You cannot play games like call of duty 2 with integrated graphics like that.


You are about the 15th person that had the same problem.

You will have to buy a video card that will actually run the game.

Your computer doesnt meet the requirements to play the game. Like jrm said the only way its going to run is if you buy yourself a compatible gfx card.

You can very well play it with onboard graphics. All you need is swiftshader. I have attached it. If you have 32 bit windows, just copy the d3d9.dll from the x86 folder and paste in the folder that you installed COD2. If you use 64 bit windows, copy the file from the x64 folder.
