 The toolbar is gone! yay!! thank you so much! :tazz:

I removed the stuff related to weather bug w/ hijack this.

The "R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.zjzugxigrbcugdd.com/WYUOu7KkyyB...IsBf.html"
worries me a bit. is this suppose to be here? ;)
I've removed it quite a few times, but everytime I restart, its back there again...

now my computer looks like this:

Hi kassy

1) You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

2) Be sure you're able to view hidden files,

3) Please download the cleaner from here: unzip the file don’t run yet.

4) Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.zjzugxigr...fav0MEIsBf.html

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://red.clientapp...//www.yahoo.com

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://search.search...look=stmpl1&fw=

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = http://search.ieplugin.com/search.htm

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://search.ieplugin.com/q.cgi?q=%s

5) Please reboot into safe mode (continually tap the F8 key while your system is starting, select Safe Mode from the menu).

Please use windows explorer to find the following files in Blue

N/A

6) Now run the cleaner

7) Reboot your PC.

8) Please run a free online virus scan here.(tick the "Auto Clean" checkbox):

9)Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and we'll remove what's left.
