I have contracted the Winhound virus. I ran Adaware and it supposedly deleted it.
When I rebooted my pc all that came up was the wallpaper with no desktop or taskbar plus it gave me a message that wininet.dll was a bad image and to check with my installation disk.
Ive since read posts here and downloaded all the fixes to my jump drive form my work pc and installed them on my home pc via the taskmanager. Whenever I try to run these programs the virus blocks them and displays the same wininet.dll error message.
Im at a loss as to what to do....Can someone please help!!!!!!!!!
