COD-UO multiplayer - initial freezing

Hi,

Each time a new map loads on COD-UO, my computer freezes for the 1st minute or so of the game and then for the rest of the game it plays perfect. This happened only after I upgraded to Win XP from ME. On ME it worked perfect. Would increasing the memory to 512MB help? Thanks
