splitting sound?

I have no idea which forum this would go under, sorry if this is the wrong one.

I was wondering if it is possible to make the sound from one device(a game) go through the computer speakers and have the sound from another device(headphones from a mic) go through the headphones? This is the best I could explain it. Not sure if this is even possible but thanks anyways.
