i just have some very basic questions on windows xp
i've been playing around with the american version of windows but i haven't had muchluck with converting it all to japanese, but as i did more research i needed a multilingual user interface pack (MUI) but i have not been able to find it as a downloadable

i've also noticed that another easy fix is to just get the Japanese Windows version, but i was wondering if you guys had any ideas on what to do in this situation, now i want everything in japanese. start menu, command prompt, even the name "My Computer" to be in the kanji..

alyways thanks for ya'll help

to get the multiuser language pack..you have to get it with the system as an OEM package or get it through the microsoft open license program

How can I acquire Windows MUI?
The Windows XP/2000 MUI is sold only through Volume Licensing programs such as the Microsoft Open License Program (MOLP / Open), Select, and Enterprise agreement (or with a new computer as an OEM version at customer request). It is not available through retail channels.
