You know when you have to download a file & you click open instead of save, where does the file get saved ? Even the files you stream online, do they get saved, I watch trailers from www.apple.com/trailers, do these trailers get saved anywhere?

Hi, the files that open online (www.apple.com/trailers) are saved in your documents, if you goto your "C:\" (Root) and then "\Documents and Settings\'user'\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\" ('user' is you) you should see a few things there. When i watch joke clips on the internet, it saves it there, i assume it will do the same for you. In "Local Settings" folder there are other folders there that might help too.

Hope this asked your question. Enjoy... :tazz:

All the files that are from the internet are stored in temporary files, unless of course it is an actual download then you usually save it in wherever you keep your download folder. Temporary files should be emptied regularly, its mostly junk, alot of stuff will be got ridden of once you are done with it though.

I emptied over a gig of temporary files just last night and i dont watch videos often so if you need your space freed up clear your temporary files.

Nope, actually the trailers that I watched were not there. Yeah most of the temporary files are junk but some movie trailers I just wanna save for later viewing because apple does not downloading to the hard disk as an option I figured maybe when I stream they get saved. Guess not ! Anyway thanks for the help & if you come up with anything that could show me where the trailers are stored please do let me know.
Thanks

They are saved but when they are finsihed they are deleted you can download trailers from some of the torrents, we dont support P2P and i cant really tell you anymore about it but if you want them thats the easy way to get them, FTP download sites are available to get trailers.
