Hellody,
Recently my Outlook Express has been sporadically prompting me for my password. I'll open the application and hit "send and receive" and get my latest batch of mail. Then, when I either compose a new e-mail or reply to one my in-box, and click "send" I get prompted to enter (or re-enter as it may be) my password.

It's not that big a deal but it is annoying and basically any anomaly on my PC that wasn't there before bothers me. I'm running Window XP Home and using Microsoft Office 2000 Professional. I have a Verizon DSL account and use a Westell 6100 modem. Let me know if any additional info is needed for an assist with this. Thanks

Check the account settings

Set up another account and include it in send / receive to see if it prompts for password as often
