My computer will not start Windows XP pro when I try to boot up. It only displays an error message, "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device". It was working fine until I started it yesterday. I try the f4 key (for BIOS settings) and f8 (for safe mode) and neither work. Any ideas as to what I should do next? :tazz:

Howdy and welcome to G2G:

Boot using your XP cd and go into the Recovery Console..

Once there, try typing in "fixboot c:" (no quotes) and see what happens..
