Remnants of Document and Settings/User Malware

1. The malware resided in the documents and setting files of the USER and launched trackers from there.
2. I have been trying since the end of December to remove remnants of this.
3. Finally I threw in the towel and did a reinstall of XP home.
4. Ghosted the C: drive to the D: and the did a fresh re-install on the C:
5. Trackers came back even on the fresh re-install.
6 Since the trackers were always in use by the system they could not be deleted until using Ad-Aware SE in SAFE MODE.
7. Problem is I believe the system is still infected with a hidden file and imbedded in the registry.
8. User Folder that was ghosted to drive D: still cannot be accessed.
9. I have done all the suggestions from Geeks to Go!_Malware Removal Logs Go Here_You Must Read This Before Posting A HijackThis Log posted by ditto.

Any help would be greatly appreciated !
