Hello and welcome to GeeksToGo. Can you give me a little more information? You received a nasty virus of some sort? How do you know what the name of it was? What exactly did it do to your system?

I kno the name of it becaue it was a winzip file and i had opened it thinking it was a game i had attempted to download. Nothing happened for a while and then when i looked at my computer a while later it came up with a message saying "see ya [bleep]!". and from then on it kept deleting shortcuts and links to devices and folders and made the computer too slow to function.
