COD 2 problems

I`just bought Cod2 an i succesfully install it. But when i try to load a map it says: CAnt load brushes,,, or brushes limit excided.
something like that. Only two maps are working.Is something wrong with my DCD-rom.
I realy dont know.

What is the exact error message?
What are your system specs?
Have you tried reinstalling the game?

It`s working now. I borroved friends DVD-rom and now it works.
