Troubleshooting a client's computer that has Windows XP Pro w/ SP2.
Not able to enter text in any search/fill in boxes on any webpage using IE6. The mouse cursor turns into a Text Select cursor when clicking the box, but there is no blinking cursor after. When I use the keyboard nothing shows up. Ran spyware remover apps, virus scans and reinstalled SP2. Swapped out the keyboard & mouse and still get the problem.
Any ideas?

Andy

I personally would just download another version of IE or get another browser such as Firefox or Opera. Now i know this wont fix the problem but it should allow you to type in search fields again.
