I was given a spare computer that has the windows passwords on it, iI am unable to access the desktop, usually I assumed I could put a cd and restart floppy disk in to wipe out the system and re-install it but it won't load, is there anything else I can do to bypass a windows password?

This is what I get:

HPFS or NTFS
create a ms-dos boot partition to set up windows
diagnostic tools loaded
windows millenium edition has detected a fat or fat32 partition
3rd party disk virus

I appreciate any advice that i can get this up and running, as i got a moive make for christmas and i need an operating system to access to use it.....

Hello,

While GTG understands that your request may be a legitimate one, it's against policy to assist in password cracking.

You might speak to the person who gave you the machine to get the password.

Sorry about this!
