what is ST3WOLF SCSI controller???
is it safe to uninstall it???

I am a ameture computer user, please help me solve this problem

my laptop is a sony vaio
system:
microsoft windows XP
home edition
version 2002
service pack 2

problem description:

I tried installing dameon tools, then my laptop went crazy and a blue screen came out and the laptop restarted automaticaly. I uninstalled Dameon tools, and now everytime i restart the windows I get a "Found new Hardware wizard" trying to install software for "ST3WOLF SCSI Controller".
the search for updates does not find any results!!!
please help me out, I'd really appreciate your help
