When booting up, I receive an explorer.exe failed to initialize error. I click ok to terminate. I tried to do a system restore from safe mode to the earliest date possible with no luck. I still receive the error and my desktop and icons will not load. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. Do you have a windows install cd? You could try doing a repair of windows. See the link at the top of this forum or go to http://www.geekstogo...ws-XP-t138.html
