I just got a new Dell for christmas, added another 512 RAM to it no problem, and went to add the new CD/DVD Drive and have come across a big problem. There is absolutely 0 room to maneuver one in.

The way the case is built, the front is too small to slide a drive in, and inside there's a power supply blocking it's way in. I can't move the power supply because of other things blocking it's way out.

All the Dell techs are busy right now and have been for awhile, I can't even get in line.

Has anyone else ran across a similiar problem and could give me a little help?

Thanks :tazz:

Hi,

Can you take the front cover off and slide the drive in that way.

Heh... I tried it and heard a small click noise... and well I like my computer to look good and don't wanna break the cover :tazz:

Is there anyway you could tell me the exact way it slides?
