Hi Guys,
I hope someone out there will be able to help me, I'm a complete n00b when it comes to technical matters on computers so please if any advice is given, try and make it clear for a technophobe! :tazz:
For the past two or three weeks my pc has not let me open links from websites I visit, I can visit websites no problem, it's just the links from the websites and pop-ups from the websites do not want to open. I cannot recall putting anything new on my pc in the last couple of weeks to have brought this problem on, at first it didn't notice much but is now annoying as I can do anything really at all online.
Any help at all would be much appreciated,
Cheers in anticipation!

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide. Also see this post.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
