Question about getting help

I posted last month on January 27th. I am having problems with my system locking up when I go to the start button and click on all programs. I followed the steps in the post about what to do before asking for help and that did not fix my problem. I have been waiting some time now for assistance and saw another post from yesterday that sounded similar to mine and the poster already has received a response. Can someone please help me? I am really trying not to be a whiner....but I am frustrated to say the least with this annoying problem I have.
