ITunes 6 wont load up

Hey,

I have this problem where Itunes will work the first time I install it, but on restart, it wont load again, and instead, when i click on it the busy icon goes away and returns to the mouse pointer. Nothing happens.

Its not a compatability problem, i have plenty of ram and cpu power, and ive only noticed it with itunes 6.
Anyone know why its not loading up, any help would be great,
