Hi rickhelp, welcome to Geeks To Go Forums.

To save a Hijackthis log you must open the program and run "Do a system scan and save log file"

The Log file should open automaticaly in notepad, from there you can click -->File -->Save As.. then save it some were that you will remember. And then open the file and press (Ctrl + A) to select everything and copy the text and make a new thread were you will save it to. (Save the log file in the Malware Forum)

OR

Goto the directory of your "Hijackthis" program and you will see a text file that says "hijackthis.txt" the log file you created will be in there. Then preform the above steps.

Goodluck with you problems. A Geeks To Go Trusted Staff will help you with it. :tazz:

Download this program if you dont have it:
Hijackthis

If the link does not work copy this into your address bar:
http://www.geekstogo.com/modules.php?modid=5&action=show&id=3

Once you have "Hijackthis" loaded follow those steps.

Goodluck :tazz:
