Hi. I recently bought a Dynex DX-DVDRW16 dvd burner/cd burner/cd-rom drive combo. It is a plug and play device, however after I installed it, Windows never recognized that new hardware was installed. I tried going to the Add hardware wizard and it couldnt recognize and Hardware changes or installations. I have tried multiple things to get it to recognize it. Now, it DOES recognize the burner (that is, it knows that its there) but it still wont load the driver. Whats really weird is that I was able to install a program from a CD-ROM disk with the burner (meaning, it was able to read and load the cd despite the fact that the driver is not installed) but it wont read any other cd or software. Neither will it burn, play, or even recognize dvds. Please, any help at all will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
