I was online searching google when I got security alerts from Norton Internet security. I clicked block but it was as if my computer was overtaken. I shut down and restarted now I get:

The application failed to initialize properly (Oxc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.

I hit "Ok" and my desktop background loads. However, only the background loads up none of the icon appear on the desktop. The only thing that I can get to work now is window task manger when I hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
