I have a small business that is, as corny as this sounds, my dream. It is now being threatened by some [bleep] who decided to write some code. I don't remember the last time I was this angry.

I have run the new Microsoft tool, I have the latest versions of Adware, Ad-aware and Spybot, and I have run them all several times. The same things keep happening -

My home page is hijacked.
I cannot use windows explorer.
My computer has rebooted three times in two days on its own.
Pages redirect automatically to a search engine.
I get popups galore.

I am very concerned this is going to be the demise of my computer and the information on it. Some I have backed up, but there is far too much vital information to the business to get it all, and as important as backing information is, I should not have to panic about it because of some hacker!

What do I need to do to get rid of this? I have been working on this for days with little progress, and I am at the end of my rope. What a birthday gift!

Here is my Hijack This log -

Still a lot of junk left. Let's try this, run a free online virus scan here (tick the "Auto Clean" checkbox):
http://housecall.antivirus.com/

And a free trojan scan here:
http://www.moosoft.com/

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and we'll remove what's left.

You don't have an antivirus program installed? Here's a very good free one:

Ran everything I could (everything that's been recommended, turned system restore off, and deleted the following files from safe mode -

isrvs
ffisearch
edmond
desktop.exe

And a couple of others. I have AVG now, and it is detecting isrvs and other files, which I am deleting.

But, my computer is still running extremely slow and I got the 'blue screen of death' once today. How do I get rid of this stuff for good, before my computer is dead ?
