This started a few days ago. If i go to a site it'll come up (a little slower) but pictures refuse to come up. Example: I went to google.com/images and type in a phrase or name and it would show the results in words and the frame of the picture, but no example picture comes up. Again if i go on any number of sites the pictures do not come up. My internet explorer is also very slow. The actual interent itself isnt because i can get onto msn messenger and other things like normal. I've deleted temporary internet files, cookies, history and I've run clean up! and nothing is changing. I restarted the computer a few times also but it still remains the same. Can someone help? please.
much appreciated

I just also noticed now that the clickable smilies (to the left of this page) do not come up and its not blank white.

Hi Themper88, welcome to geeks to go,

your browser is blocking you from veiwing images, and therefore is displaying the "alt" text inserted in the <img tag. (not that you care) if you are using ie go to tools>internet options>advanced> then scroll down to multimedia and make sure the browser is blocking them. if you are not using ie just post back and i will give you other instrucitons.
